Headspace is an Australian youth mental health charity, focusing on people from the ages of 12 through to 25. Each year, they help thousands of young people (and their family and friends), access vital support through the headspace services in over 140 communities across Australia. Headspace provides mental as well as physical health support. Some of the problems linked with young mental health problems are sexual health, alcohol and drugs. Headspace provides support to help young individuals with these specific problems and help them through this challenging time in their life. They provide support through their online and phone counselling services, vocational services, and have a presence in many of Australia’s schools. They raise money through fundraising and public donations. For example, through sponsors running in the Sydney running festival.
